This is the most difficult trail in the Ceahlau Mountain. The climb is entirely push and/or carry bike. Starting in Izvorul Muntelui (Neamt County) the trail climbs up to the Dochia Lodge and it’s the shortest way up. The descent is just as difficult (the same trail as the climb), steep, with roots and very, very rocky. Lower it becomes more tame. It’s hard but extremely fun! Don’t forget to pay the Park tax at the entrance. It’s worth it, the Ceahlau Park is very well cared for, so be aware as there are lots of hikers in the area.
