The most beautiful trail in the Ceahlau Mountain. The climb starts on a forest road and it’s gentle at the beginning, perfect to get warmed up. It’s followed by a section of push bike up to the plateau from where you can cycle to the Dochia Lodge. The descent starts between the Juniper trees to the Meteo Station (under the Toaca Peak), after which it becomes more difficult, steep and rocky. After passing the Fantanele Lodge, the downhill trail becomes even more difficult. There are a lot of rocks and built handrails which can hook up your handlebars. The effort is worth it! Don’t forget to pay the Park tax at the entrance. It’s worth it, the Ceahlau Park is very well cared for, so be aware as there are lots of hikers in the area.
